The ‘25 Ioniq 6 is a, all-electric sedan sold in four trims: SE Standard Range, SE, SEL, and Limited. The SE Standard Range comes with a single rear-axle motor that provides 149 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. When they’re ordered with rear-wheel drive (RWD), the SE, SEL, and Limited get a more powerful motor producing 225 hp and the same 258 lb.-ft. of torque. These three trims are also eligible for dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD), which boosts output to 320 hp and 446 lb.-ft. of torque.
The SE Standard Range is powered by a 53-kWh battery that supplies up to 240 miles of driving per charge. The SE, SEL, and Limited are equipped with a 77.4-kWh battery, but their range varies depending on the drivetrain. The RWD SE can go up to 342 miles per charge, while the AWD version can reach 316 miles. The SEL and Limited trims provide 291 miles with RWD and 270 miles with AWD. Using a public DC fast charger, the Ioniq 6 can replenish 80 percent of its battery in just 18 minutes. Each trim also features regenerative braking, which recaptures energy during braking and converts it to electricity to extend driving range.
