Trims and Powertrain

Hyundai offers a single, comprehensively equipped trim package for the 2025 Ioniq 5 N. Its powertrain unites an 84-kWh battery with a 233-horsepower electric motor in front and a 378-horsepower unit in the rear. The combined output of 601 horsepower increases to 641 when the short-term N Grin Boost mode is engaged. The 697-volt system enables rapid charging with a Level 3/DC fast charger. Hyundai estimates that at a 350-kW charge speed, the Ioniq 5 N’s battery can be restored from 10% to 80% in about 18 minutes. Level 2 (240-volt) charging at 10.9 kW takes the battery from 10% to 100% in about 7.33 hours. According to the EPA, the estimated maximum drive range is 221 miles, with a 72 MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent) rating. The Ioniq 5 N provides 26.1 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row and 59.3 cubic feet when the back seats are folded down.
