Your trim choices for the 2024 Venue are SE, SEL, and Limited. This front-wheel-drive subcompact crossover uses an efficient powertrain made up of a 121-horsepower 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine and a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The EPA estimates that all three trims achieve 29 miles per gallon in city driving and 33 mpg on the highway.
The SE offers a good set of features, starting with basics such as fabric upholstery, air conditioning, manually adjustable front seats, a second-row 60/40-split folding seatback, a cover for the cargo area, and 15-inch alloy wheels. This base trim also mixes in conveniences like heated exterior mirrors, automatic on/off halogen headlights, and a 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster. The SEL adds USB ports for the back seat, proximity keyless entry, push-button ignition, a power sliding sunroof, automatic climate control with two zones, rooftop rails, a hidden storage bin in the cargo area, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter knob. The Limited drops the sunroof but gains heated front seats, wireless phone charging, full LED exterior lighting, and upholstery in a combination of simulated leather and fabric.
Hyundai’s proprietary active safety suite, SmartSense, adds an array of driver-assist technologies to every Venue. All trims get automatic high beams, driver attention warning, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, lane keeping assist, and rear occupant alert. The SEL and Limited also get blind-spot collision warning and rear cross-traffic warning. An enhanced forward collision system featuring cyclist detection is included with just the Limited.
The infotainment features in every trim are managed via an 8-inch touchscreen. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay come standard along with Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, HD Radio, and an audio system with six speakers. While Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require a manually plugged-in connection in the Limited, this trim compensates with integrated navigation and SiriusXM satellite radio.
