The ’24 Santa Fe Hybrid lineup includes three trim levels: SEL, Limited, and Calligraphy. They all have the same main mechanical specs: a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine, an electric motor, a 6-speed automatic transmission, and a 270-volt lithium-ion battery. This hybrid powerplant yields a combined output of 231 horsepower and 271 lb.-ft. of torque. The towing capacity is 2,000 pounds with trailer brakes and 1,650 lb. without them. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard, with all-wheel drive (AWD) available at every level. The EPA has estimated the Santa Fe Hybrid’s fuel economy at 36 mpg around town and 35 mpg highway with FWD, and 35 mpg city/34 mpg highway with AWD.
The SEL trim includes proximity key entry with push-button start, Hyundai Digital Key 2, H-Tex upholstery, heated side mirrors, a hands-free smart liftgate with auto open and adjustable height, rear-seat quiet mode, roof rails, 18-inch alloy wheels, and LED lighting throughout. Inside, features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 4.2-inch color multi-information display, dual automatic temperature control, heated front seats, wireless device charging, and ample storage options. The Limited trim ramps up its standard equipment with leather upholstery, ventilated and heated front seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, power-folding side mirrors, leather-trimmed seating surfaces, a dual-pane sunroof, rain-sensing windshield wipers, ambient interior lighting, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The Calligraphy trim is enhanced with premium Nappa leather upholstery, a pair of power-adjustable power-folding captain’s chairs in the second row (which limits occupancy to six), nearly zero-gravity relaxation seats for the front passengers, a camera-based rearview mirror, dual wireless device charging, a 12-inch head-up display, and dark-finished 20-inch alloy wheels.
The Hyundai SmartSense suite of advanced driver-assist technologies comes standard across all trims, installing driver attention warning, blind-spot collision warning, smart cruise control with stop-and-go, advanced rear occupant alert, forward attention warning, lane keeping assist, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist, safe exist assist, lane following assist, parking distance warning, and forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian, cyclist, and junction turning detection. The Limited and Calligraphy trims add Remote Smart Parking Assist, a surround view monitor, navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Curve Control, side parking sensors, and a blind-spot view monitor. All trims also get High Beam Assist, stability management, ABS, downhill brake control, and a rearview monitor with parking guidance. The SEL trim gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth hands-free phone system, SiriusXM, HD Radio, and Bluelink connected car services. The Limited and Calligraphy add onboard navigation, dynamic voice recognition, Hyundai Pay, and a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system.
