2022 Hyundai Sonata for Sale in Hyannis, MA

Overview
The 2022 Hyundai Sonata stands out among full-sized sedans not just with its looks but also because it offers so much value. This cost-effective car packs luxury-level features into every trim level, and its cabin shows off good-quality materials. On top of that, it’s covered by not just a generous 10-year powertrain warranty, but 3 years of complimentary scheduled maintenance (tire rotations and oil/filter changes).
This model year, Hyundai has added the appealing N Line Night variant, which is differentiated by its in-vogue blacked-out exterior. Plus, the standard equipment list has been expanded on some trims. For instance, the SEL Plus now gets the contents of the previous model year’s Tech Package (the highlight is a panoramic sunroof), and the Limited receives an improved version of voice recognition. Some exciting technologies are available on the ’22 Sonata, including automated parking (Remote Smart Parking Assist) and Digital Key, an exclusive feature that lets you lock, unlock, and start the Sonata with your smartphone.
Trims and Mechanical Details
The six trim levels of the Sonata are SE, SEL, SEL Plus, N Line, N Line Night, and Limited. The first two get a 191-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, while the SEL Plus and Limited are upgraded with a 180 hp turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine; both of those engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The two N Line trims have the ultimate Sonata powertrain: a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder making 290 hp and 311 lb.-ft. of torque paired with an eight-speed wet dual-clutch automatic. The EPA has estimated the following ratings: 28 mpg city/38 mpg highway for the SE; 27 city/37 highway for the SEL, SEL Plus, and Limited; and 23 city/33 highway for the higher-performance N Line and N Line Night.
Standard Features By Trim
The SE is comfortable and nicely equipped with cloth seats, LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, manual climate control, a 60/40-split folding rear seatback, and a good array of standard technology (see the following sections for details). The SEL takes a big step upward with heated front seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control (dual zone), heated exterior mirrors with built-in LED turn-signal indicators, 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, and keyless ignition. The available Convenience Package can be added for the aforementioned panoramic sunroof along with Digital Key, a 12.3-inch LCD gauge cluster, wireless phone charging, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, LED interior lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, and HVAC vents and a USB charge port for the second row.
The SEL Plus gets the Convenience Package’s contents as standard, as well as paddle shifters, 19-inch alloy wheels, and simulated leather seats with microfiber inserts. Aside from its performance powertrain, the N Line is given bolstered sport seats (front row), a sport-tuned suspension, and unique styling details. The N Line Night is equipped the same way but with blacked-out exterior elements and a carbon-fiber trunk-mounted spoiler. It’s offered with either black or white paint. The Limited is graced with genuine leather seats that are ventilated in the front row – plus, the driver’s seat gets position memory and the front passenger’s seat becomes power-adjustable. This trim also has a head-up display, a heated steering wheel, and ambient interior lighting.
Staying Connected
The default infotainment system (in the SE) has an 8-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), and Bluetooth for hands-free phone calls and audio streaming. The SEL and above add SiriusXM satellite radio and BlueLink connected car services. The most deluxe version of the system is found in the N Line trims and the Limited. It has a 10.25-inch touchscreen, navigation, dynamic voice recognition, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system.
Technology for Driver Assistance
Hyundai’s proprietary package of active safety features, known as SmartSense, comes standard on all 2022 Sonatas. In the base SE that means Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go, driver attention warning, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, and rear occupant alert. Blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, and safe exit warning are added to the SEL and higher trims. The Limited gets the most active safety features, adding parking collision avoidance assist, reverse automatic braking, blind-spot view monitoring (which shows a live feed of the vehicle’s blind spots on a screen in the gauge cluster), a surround-view monitor, front and rear parking sensors, and Remote Smart Parking Assist, which can park the Sonata without the driver in it.
