|I am writing this promptly to try to emulate the promptness and follow through of Mr. Carter and Heidi at Balise Hyundai of Cape Cod. Today was only the second occasion since my purchase in August of 2012 to visit the service department. On the day I picked up the car brand new I was introduced to Mr. Carter and he immediately made me very confident and comfortable that I was in good hands at 'my new service department'. He gave me his card a coupon for my first oil change and said to contact him at any time I needed assistance. Today on a routine 7500 mile visit he was there again with the same very cordial and professional demeanor and he assisted Mr. Beale in completing my check in. I asked about the notice I had regarding The Hyundai MPG program and Mr. Carter enlisted the help of Heidi, who just said 'let me take care of that for you'. Amazing 'First Class Customer Service'. I know if and when I need the extra mile to be taken on my behalf , there are folks at Balise Hyundai to go the distance for me. I felt that I had to write and tell you how happy I am with my Hyundai Elantra that I just purchased from Balise Hyundai of Cape Cod. Mark Anderson was very helpful and professional. He very patiently assisted me in determining which vehicle was best for my needs and ably guided me through what could have been a very stressful buying experience. He made sure that I was completely happy with my purchase, and has followed up with me several times, to make sure that everything continues to be satisfactory. James Tinsley, the business manager explained all of the paperwork as he presented it to me, which was a first, and was very helpful in expediting things with the financing and my insurance company. I absolutely love my Elantra, just as much as I loved my old Elantra, and I'm telling everyone about the excellent customer service at Balise!

I visited the dealership just to show my granddaughter a car that I liked. I was greeted by Peter Stout. He asked me if I would like to test drive the vehicle. It was a 2012 Hyundai Veloster. I said OK, and off me and my two granddaughters went. I was very impressed with the way the vehicle handled. I showed my husband and my daughter the vehicle. Everyone seemed to like the vehicle. I had no intentions in purchasing a new vehicle that day, I was just pointing out to my granddaughters a vehicle that I thought was 'cool'. When I returned from the test drive, I was approached by JJ Hoyt. He asked what I thought of the vehicle. I told him I loved it, but didn't think I could afford a new vehicle. He ran some numbers for me, and they were not in my budget. I told him that if he could make the payments the same as what I was currently paying, I would consider it. I figured that would never happen and off I went. About 2 days later, Mr. Hoyt called me with the good news that my payments would remain the same, so naturally I had to now buy the vehicle. When I went in to sign the papers for my new purchase I dealt with James Tinsley. I have purchased many vehicles in my time as a driver, but never had such a good experience as I did with Mr. Tinsley. He was very professional and explained everything in detail that I was signing. He had me in and out in no time at all. Then I sat with Mr. Stout, who went over every inch of the vehicle with me. He was very helpful and knowledgable about the vehicle. He was able to answer all of my questions. He even hooked up my phone to the car. I would definitely recommend anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle to Balise Hyundai of Cape Cod, and I have sent people there for their purchase.

My 2012 Sonata radio stopped working. I couldn't even turn the radio on. I live in Truro, MA, over 40 miles from the dealer, Balise Hyndai. I called Balise and was transferred to Tony Berenthal who knew what the problem was and guided me through the process to fix it. Using his cell phone, he stayed with me as I followed his instructions and got the radio working again. His patience should be rewarded, since I am technologically compromised. I had my first experience with a Balise dealership when I visited Balise Ford of Cape Cod. It was good, but at the time I wasn't ready to make a deal. In a way, that's fine but I just want to say, when I went to Balise Hyundai to make a deal, your people represented your dealership with extraordinary professionalism, friendliness and courtesy. I basically knew what I wanted, but still was trying to decide between a 2013 Elantra Limited w/ Auto Tech package or 2011 Sonata Limited. I decided on the Sonata and I have to say, the salesperson I originally talked to wasn't in, however the sales manager, Tim Eppler, helped me out, gave me all the figures on the Elantra and gave me a fair deal on the Sonata. James Tinsley, the Business Manager bent over backwards to give me a GREAT rate of financing for the car, checked with Tim about approval and Tim didn't even bat an eye and gave approval on the loan percentage. I thought when I walked out of there I would feel sick about the amount of money I was going to be spending on the car, but after all was said and done, I felt like I was treated very well, VERY fairly and I would recommend Balise to anyone I know who was looking for a vehicle, to go to Balise Hyundai of Cape Cod, because they will treat you well and give you a fair deal. I am a very satisfied customer. On a side note, Fred Mesinger, the BDC Manager had to give me a ride to my house to drop off another vehicle and he was excellent as well. You have a great managerial staff at Balise Hyundai of Cape Cod, and I'd say, from the General Manager down, they are all fantastic and will do great things for your company.

My wife and I would like you to know that Sales Consultant, Peter Stout and Service Manager, Tony Derenthal of Balise Hyundai of Cape Cod have restored our faith in their dealership, after an unfortunate problem with our new Veloster. We bought it new in May of this year and took delivery of it with the understanding that the temp. sensor would be repaired or replaced at the first service. At the first service on 7/16/2012, the service technician replaced the sensor, only to find that the navigation panel was shorted out. In the process of checking the nav. panel the technician scratched and dug numerous areas of the panel and panel cover. Peter Stout took immediate action after receiving my telephone call regarding this problem. He took my e-mailed photos to the Service Manager and conferred with him regarding an immediate replacement of the affected parts. On 8/2/2012, Tony Derenthal, the service manager, took our Veloster in and completed the replacement of the necessary parts and was very gracious and helpful to us. We believe that at first opportunity, Peter should be promoted to a management position, as he showed great leadership qualities in his handling of our situation, and has won our undying gratitude. We would really appreciate you personally recognizing Peter and Tony for their kindness and willingness to satisfy us when we were nearly ready to take our vehicle to another dealership. THIS WILL SUBSTANTIATE WHY WE GAVE BALISE HYUNDAI IN HYANNIS MASS. THE HIGHEST RATING IN ALL CATEGORIES...I live in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. My wife Judy and I have been vacationing on Cape Cod for 40 of the last 43 years. Prior to going to the Cape this year, we sold our 2000 Pontiac Montana and bought a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe locally here in Kitchener. Recognizing that we would not have as much room in the Santa Fe compared to the Montana to transport all our stuff to the Cape, we purchased a car top bag on-line. While it had lots of space to store our belongings, the strap configuration to hold it on the roof of the Santa Fe was not the best due to the design (window placement etc) of the Santa Fe. We got to Cape Cod, but had to stop periodically and tighten the straps. Being not 100% happy with our car top bag, we decided to look around Hyannis for a hard top cargo carrier. We went to several places, but couldn't find what we wanted and at a price we wanted to pay. Finally my wife Judy said...why don't we go to the local Hyundai dealership which was Balise Hyundai on Yarmouth Road in Hyannis. So that is exactly what we did. We went into the Parts Dep't at Balise and talked to 3 very nice people, one of which was Mike. Mike listened very carefully to our request, and went on their Hyundai network to see if he could find what we wanted. He came back to us with some great news that he had found exactly what we wanted and at a price we were willing to pay. I had several questions regarding the compatibility of the car top cargo carrier with my Santa Fe two side rails and cross members(2). Mike went out in the yard and looked at my rail configuration twice and each time he went back inside and made a phone call to another Hyundai location to get my questions answered. He even produced a printout of the answers to my questions. That was on Thursday, July 12th, and Mike arranged to have it shipped to his dealership from New Jersey two days later on July 14th. I can't say enough about how Mike took our situation on as a personal challenge to help us. He went the extra mile ,and through his efforts Balise Hyundai got the sale. Mike never rushed us and was never pushy. He was patient to help us work through our dilemma. In short, Balise are very fortunate to have such a tenacious, kind and pleasant customer-focused individual on their staff. Then we met Tony the Service Manager who did the install on the Saturday afternoon. Like Mike, Tony is very pleasant and focused on his job. With the help of one of his staff, Tony adjusted the cross rails on the Santa Fe to accommodate the cargo carrier, and completed the install. He installed it in record time and did it in exactly the time I was previously quoted when I purchased the cargo carrier. Both Mike and Tony are excellent employees, and Judy and I wish them well. Finally, we went and saw JJ the General Manager, and expressed how happy we were with the service we got from Mike and Tony. JJ was very nice and was very appreciative that we had taken the time to stop by his office and tell him. In conclusion, if people that are reading this review live in the Hyannis or surrounding area and are looking for a great vehicle backed by customer focused staff, then go check out the inventory and the folks at Balise Hyundai on Yarmouth Rd in Hyannis...if you are like Judy and I you won't be disappointed. ALL of the information I have provided in this review is honest and unsolicited. I took the time to write this because Balise Hyundai deserves it.

I was very fortunate to have discovered the listing for the vehicle almost simultaneously with its appearance, both in terms of mileage and price it met my criteria. Incidentally, nothing else in the several thousand listings checked came even close. I was equally fortunate in the dealership that listed the car. They were extremely helpful and staightforward from the outset. As a result I was comfortable making a substantial deposit without having even seen the car (I assumed perhaps incorrectly that I would forfeit that deposit if I elected not to purchase the car.) While apparently, there is alot more time consuming paperwork than I remenbered from past purchases the sales and financial person took the time to explain all aspects of the transaction and in addition took the time to answer my questions. Where they where not familiar or experienced in the area of my inquiry they brought in someone who was - for instance the mechanic who had set up the car. Although the car was 7 years old it seemed brand new without a blemish. I told a friend I felt like I'd won the lottery. As to writing a review in the dealer there would be no problem except that at that point in time my experience would be incomplete.

My partner & I went to Balise Hyundai having done our research on line as to what car was the best suited for us. Our 91 Toyota Corolla had recently ended its long and useful life and among the cars that had made the finals were a few hyundai Elantras, excellent consumer report on all counts. We received fast and friendly help as soon as we walked in from John C. Crawley. We drove the choice car and saw another vehicle, a Mitsibushi that was also among the finals but a little too much mileage compared to the Elantra we were looking at. We decided that our choice was the right one and proceeded to the actual sale that was also fast and efficient. A few days later John drove the car to our home about an hour away. A very pleasant experience all around.

We have purchased 4 Hyundai's since 2004, an XL350 in 2003, a Tiburon in 2004, a Sonata in 2005, and an Azera in 2008, which I traded for the XL350, all excellent vehicles. We still have the Tiburon, the Sonata and the Azera. We love them all, including the XL350. They are all great in snow. Two of them have bumper to bumper warranties for 100,000 miles that we added, one after 5 years. Our daughter has the Sonata and shows no sign of trading it. Balise has a very good service Department. They used to be very pricy for service, but they now have come down to reality.

I was visiting Falmouth, 400 miles from home, on Saturday when the check engine light went on in my 2008 Azera and I lost power. After a brief period of panic, I found Balise Hyundai on the internet and called Sherm Goble. He couldn't have been more responsive. He told me to bring the car in and he would determine what was wrong. When I arrived at the dealership, he welcomed me and explained what you would be doing. He suggested that I go to lunch while the car was checked out. It turned out that my throttle position sensor had failed. The sensor was replaced and I was able to resume my vacation. I found your whole staff responsive and extremely competent, but I would single out Sherm Goble for special. He understood that having a car break down so far from home can be traumatic and he was especially understanding. Thanks to you and your staff for having a great dealership.

I recently had timing belt problems on my 2001 Elantra. My mechanic in NYS replaced the timing belt but on my trip to Cape Cod it broke in Rhode Island. It was replaced by a mechanic there and then did not run properly. I just wanted to enjoy a vacation with my wife and 8 month old daughter on the Cape. I went to Balise and worked with Tony Derenthal. He was a prince. He heard my story and how this was third time I was having trouble with the timing belt in a three week period! He made it his personal mission to take care of our car. If I lived in the area you would have me as a loyal customer. I love how right when you walk in, everybody knows who you are and they come over and greet you and ask how you are doing. Eric had sold me my car, and everytime I getmy car done at the sevice center he always asks me how I'm doin and how my car is doing. And always asks me why I'm gettin my car done to make sure my car is ok. Louie always comes up and asks how I am and to make sure my car is doing well. I love walking in there and them knowing who I am and remembering me. Nick is new but he is a really good guy, when he worked in the auto service he always greeted me with a smile and asked me how I was doing and what I needed to done for my car. Now he sells cars and everytime I walk in there and he comes up and talks to me to make sure my car is alright. But all together its been a awesome dealership so far, I go there for all my car troubles because I no that they will take car of me and no that I will be happy at the end of the day with my car. This was my third Hyundai and second used car. This dealership, even though is over 50 miles away from my house, was the best place to buy a car so far. The sales people are not pushy, very nice and going out of their way to make the customer happy. I picked up the car within 24 hours from giving a deposit at 7:30PM a night before. If only the dealer were closer to where I live, I would take my car there for service as well.

Jon Croghan took care of all of my needs and wants concerning my vehicle purchase. He even went out of his way to get my car registration (RI) taken care of in an efficient manner. Also, when I came in to pick up my car for delivery, someone had parked next to my car and slammed their door into my new car that I hadn't even driven yet! Jon made arrangements to have my car fixed at Balise Collision in Cranston which was much more convenient for me then having to take my new car all the way out to the Cape for repair. He took care of every detail!

I gave Judy MacLachlan the highest rating possible for many reasons. I began my search for a new Hyundai over a year before I finally purchased my Elantra. I met Judy when I began the process. I was immediately taken by her professional and courteous manner. She understood and respected the fact that I was not in a rush to purchase, so she stayed in touch with me, but never made me feel pressured. So, I knew that I was going to buy from her if I decided to purchase a Hyundai. Because I had such a great experience with my first Hyundai, it was an easy choice to give them my business again...so, I decided to go see Judy to begin the process. I test drove the Elantra (with Judy in the passenger seat answering all of my many questions) and knew immediately that this was the car for me. I was given a very fair price for my trade in and an incredibly low 2.94% finance charge on my 60 month loan. Judy even drove to my office in Orleans to sign and exchange titles because I was unable to leave work early enough the prior night. The dedication she showed is rare these days to say the least. The transition from old car to new car was quick and painless with Balise Hyundai handling every aspect from soup to nuts (and quite inexpensively). I'm sure I'll be seeing Judy again the next time I'm in the market for a new vehicle.

Hello my name is Jocelyn O'neil and i recently purchased a 2011 Hyundai accent from Balise Hyundai in Hyannis, MA. My Saleperson was extremely nice and so was the general sales Manager. Everyone else there was very pleasant to me as well. My fiance and i were having alot of car troubles with our 2002 Nissan Altima and we needed to get a new car desperately. They were so good to us since our engine had died in the altima they even gave us a ride home and offered to pick us up the next day until my loans went through. They were so good to us about everything and i am very happy that we chose to go to Balise rather then another dealer. My husband and I have enjoyed this dealership since we purchased 2 vehicles over a year ago. We bought our son a new Elantra and ourselves a used 2008 Tucson. I recently had the need to purchase tires for the Tucson and decided to stop into the dealership to investigate how affordable a new 2011 Tucson would be for us. From the moment I entered all of the salespeople were extremely pleasant to me. Eric Barros showed me vehicles on the lot and made the sale very easy for me. Louie Rezendes Jr (General Sales Manager) made the wait pleasurable and it was nice to see that the financial person was now James Tinsley who sold us our initial vehicles. Louie actually sent Eric to Dunkin Donuts to get me a coffee because they only happen to have flavored left which I do not care for. I also saw that an elderly woman who was waiting was hungry and they sent someone to McDonalds for them. It is this type of excellent customer service that makes people continue to use this dealership. I will (and already have) recommend them to all of my friends and family and anyone who should mention to me they need a vehicle. Since I had my labrador with me, we struck up a conversation. At the time I was not shopping for a new vehicle but I knew if I ever was, I would certainly work with her. Went in to the dealership on February 5,2011 for an oil change on my 2008 Elantra and went into the showroom to look around and I was greeted very professionally from all staff. If i neede help or a cup of coffee, they were very nice. Ended up looking at the 2011 tElantra that was in the show room and took one for a test drive.Ended up falling in love with it and ended up buying it that day! I live on the Cape with few options which is why I visited Balise of Cape Cod. My father bought a huyndai four years ago and loves it and has not had any problems. Consumer Reports rates the Tucson very well in all categories. I had a few other cars in mind to test drive but only visited one other dealeship. Once I drove the Tucson I fell in love and didn't need to look any further. Judy, my saleswoman, was very nice and accomodating and eager to answer my questions even though I had only a few due to researching cars on the internet. After I decided the Tucson was for me, we worked closely with the Sales Manager, Louie (I can't remember his last name). He was very nice and upbeat and a pleasure to work with. Even my time with Jason, the finance guy, was pleasant and informative. I felt everyone was honest with me and not simply pushing me to buy a car from them. I had to go back to the dealership a few times, once to sign papers, second time to pick up the car, and a third time to have it inspected. Each time I walked in they all greeted me by name and still treated me as if that was the first time I walked in their door. They did not sell me a car and discard me. I would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in Hyundais regardless if the live on Cape Cod or not.

No pressure atmosphere. Very knowledgeable about their cars and the programs/rebates available. Delivered on everything they promised. Did not try to up sell. They were able to put us in the car with the maximum amount of features for the fairest price.

I was greeted warmly on my entrance to the dealership by James Tingley and offered a seat at his station where he offered me a coffee. He listened to my concerns and then proceeded to give me all the answers to my questions without trying to influence my decision for my visit. I was interested in trading in my 2005 Elantra for a newer model. The conversation was low key and comfortable for me as I needed to know what would be the best options for me. James and Jason in the business office made it a very pleasant transaction and I feel that I made the best decision for me based on their kind and wise counsel.I would recommend this dealership to anyone without any reservations. I have had my prior vehicle serviced here and have been more than satisfied with every part of the experience. The personnel are personable and make an effort to provide any information asked of them by me to help me enjoy my Hyundai Elantra. I look forward to continued collaboration with Balise Hyundai as long as I have my car.

I had a fantastic experience buying my new Sonata here. It was a car I knew little about until I arrived at the dealer and James did such a tremendous job explaining every detail of the car as well as how it stacked up against the competition without any pressure or bs. They worked with me on price and really catered to my needs in every way. And I love my car!

My experience was excellent in every aspect. I highly reccomend Balise Hyundai of Cape Cod. The sales associate (Tim) gave no pressure, just help and answers. The Sales manager (Louie) went above and beyond to get a good finance deal, the general manager (JJ) was very helpful and allowed us to take the car home to test it with our 3 teenagers. Also, as part of the deal, they agreed to fix several dings and scrapes on the 2009 Taurus X. After closing the deal, they took the car and sent it to have the body work completed. When I got the car back, it looked brand new! They certainly kept their word PLUS much more. I am very happy!

I would recommend this dealership because the service was great, they know what car would fit with you and they have exceptional service. I thought that the sales person treated you like a friend other than a customer and I feel thats a good thing to do. I would deffinately come back if I needed a new car.

I bought a car in May and another in June both times great experience. I had an issue and took it took them and they took care of the issue right away. Would diffently recommend to others this car dealership. I am 59 years old and have bought alot of cars from different dealers and this was by far the best to deal with. Will diffently return when ready to buy again.

After totaling my car, I decided to visit Balise Hyundai of Cape Cod to explore my options for a new car. I knew I absolutely needed the car, however had no FULL intentions of buying a car on that particular day. After meeting with my sales rep, Judy MacLachlan, I was 100% confident in buying my car from them. The process went so smooth, there was NO pressure, & Judy was nothing but helpful with all the questions I had. Compared to my last car purchase, off Cape, this purchase was a piece of cake! What a pleasure it was purchasing my new 2011 Sonata from Balise Hyundai last Wednesday. Tim Eppler was our salesman,and was so helpful. Absolutely NO high pressure, a true gentleman. What a surprise! The sales manager Louie Rezenedes, was so friendly, fair, and made buying my beautiful new Sonata a worry free, joyful experience. I felt he was sincerely looking out for everyone's best interest, and would be there in the future to stand behind my new Sonata. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

Judith MacLachlan was the Balise Hundai of Cape Cod salesperson who sold my 2003 Santa Fe to me and then recently sold my 20011 Sonata. I have been very satisfied both with sales and service at this dealership. The dealership is also located not too far from my home.

I had a wonderful buying experience, it couldnt have been better! From the pricing to the excellent customer service. I have recommended this dealer to many friends and family members off cape due to the experience. It is worth the travel! I went to Balise Hyundai, not even sure if I would be able to purchase a vehicle. The minute I started talking with Jon alot of my worries were dispersed. He made me feel comfortable and explained everything with great detail. I've baught many vehicles in the past, and this was the easiest, most memorable experience I've had. I'd recommend anyone to buy a car from Balise, go see Jon at Hyundai!

The employees of Balise Hyundai of Hyannis are very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. When my husband and I walked in we were greeted with smiles. I bought two cars from Balise. A 2011 Hyundai Senata and a 2004 Hyundai Senata for my daughter. Unfortunately I was rear-ended a couple of months after I bought the 2011 and Balise Hyundai had my car looking brand new again in no time at all. I would definately recommend Balise Hyundai to anyone who is looking to buy a new vehicle!

Just a personal note. When we lived in the Forest Park area of Springfield in the late 70/s we bought a Honda Civic from your Springfield store. We had it for many years. Since moving to the Cape, we have had Saturn's. While we were saddened when they were discontinued, I was glad to see a familiar and trusted name come into our area.

I had written to you on Sunday October 10 regarding my buying a 2007 Sonata on October 7th from this dealership. There were several problems with the car and I was not happy. I have since heard from J.J. the gerneral manager and I will now say that I have completely revised my previous opinion. He was extremely helpful and resolved the problem quickly and to my complete satisfaction. I left this dealership totally convinced that they stand behind the cars they sell and are willing to go the extra mile in the event that something does go wrong. Thank you for turning what was had been a bad experience into a very positive one.
